Greetings citizens of the world. We are Anonymous.
For far too long ISIS has kept the world in fear, but now, it is time for them to understand fear. As the dust settles from the bombings of this past week in Sri Lanka, we are learning once again that our governments cannot protect us from terror groups. To make matters worse, according to some evidence, government agencies are responsible for allowing these attacks to occur.
This is where Anonymous comes in. When the authorities have proven to be corrupt or worthless, bringing justice becomes the job of the vigilante. As multiple reports have now indicated, multiple government officials in Sri Lanka looked the other way when warnings of the attacks were made to their agencies.
The warnings were made for months leading up to the attack, including the week before and the day before the bombings. This shows us that now more than ever we need an independent and open warning system about potential threats. It could be argued that dark web internet sleuths that can found on places like 4chan have actually done more to solve and prevent terror cases then any agency of the government has.
The evidence that has come to light in the recent bombing case has created two tasks for An0nymous. First, we must to do the job of the police and prevent terror attacks from happening in the first place by paying attention to the warning signs. Secondly, we need to identify and expose the government double agents who are working with ISIS. This is a fact that was long believed to be a conspiracy theory, until this past weekend, when reputable outlets such as Reuters and the Associated Press quoted high ranking Sri Lankan officials, insisting unequivocally that ISIS has infiltrated their government. This is a pivotal time in history because the failings and corruptions in the system are now even being admitted by people who benefit from the system.
Perhaps the reason that ISIS has been able to survive this long while fighting against the entire world is that they are so pervasive and widespread, being able to extend their influence so far that they can infiltrate governments. At least in this most recent bombing that seems to be the case. However, this bombing was not unique, many other similar attacks that involved ISIS also included similar government security failures on the highest level.
Could this be a mere coincidence? Perhaps, but if this much circumstantial evidence was stacked up against an average person in court they could end up convicted. If it is true that ISIS has infiltrators and other high-ranking government positions across the world anonymous will find out and we will expose them.
It is likely that this protective barrier of infiltrators is the last line of defense that ISIS has against the rest of the world. The ISIS caliphate in the Middle East is currently in shambles and is shrinking in size by the day. Meanwhile, The elusive leader has not been seen in over 5 years.
In addition to exposing the individuals and stopping their crimes, we will as always be working to diminish their platforms on the global stage, and especially online. For too long they have freely distributed their propaganda across the planet, creating panic and hysteria while recruiting mentally ill young people to their sadistic cause.
For this most recent case in Sri Lanka, we have a few breadcrumbs of evidence to start with including the names of the terrorists as well as the millionaire family connected with the terror group. Also, we have the names of high-ranking Sri Lankan officials who have been fired presumably for these security failures that they allowed on Easter Sunday. The country’s police chief, Pujith Jayasundara, and Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were fired this week. Mohammed Yusuf Ibrahim is the father of two of the terrorists, and is a very wealthy, well-connected businessman in Sri Lanka.
The time has come for us to unite, the time has come for us to stand up and fight!
